Position: Trainee Officer (General)

Role Overview:
✓ Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC is inviting applications from fresh postgraduates for the position of Trainee Officer (General).
✓ This is an entry-level opportunity designed to develop future banking professionals through structured training and job rotations.
✓ Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive training at the Bank’s Training Academy and gain exposure across multiple banking functions.
Key Responsibilities:
✓ Participate in structured training programs and branch rotations.
✓ Support branch operations and corporate office functions.
✓ Develop operational, analytical, and customer service capabilities.
✓ Assist in achieving service excellence aligned with Shariah-based banking principles.
Candidate Requirements:
Education:
✓ Postgraduate degree from a UGC-approved reputed university.
✓ Minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 or 3.75 out of 5.00 in both graduate and postgraduate levels.
✓ Minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00 in SSC and HSC or equivalent.
Eligibility Criteria:
✓ Maximum age: 32 years as of 01 May 2026.
✓ Must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
Selection Process:
✓ Written test followed by a panel interview.
✓ Final selection based on merit.
Employment Details & Compensation:
✓ Trainee period: 1 year.
✓ Monthly stipend during training: BDT 28,500
✓ Upon confirmation: Officer position with a monthly salary of BDT 45,350 + benefits.
Additional Conditions:
✓ Candidates must be willing to work anywhere in Bangladesh.
✓ Selected candidates will be required to sign a minimum 5-year service bond.
