Educational Requirements
Candidates must have:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a reputed public university.
Experience Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum 8 years of active experience in civil construction.
- Hands-on experience in the construction of factory or industrial plant infrastructure within a manufacturing company.
- Experience managing industrial construction projects from planning through execution will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Executing civil construction works according to approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, material requisitions, and monitoring material consumption.
- Developing and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
- Supervising ongoing construction activities and coordinating project execution.
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Preparing project progress reports and maintaining construction documentation.
Required Competencies
Successful candidates should have:
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and structural engineering.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, planning, and project scheduling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, site teams, and multiple construction activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Willingness to reside and work permanently at the project site in Laksham, Cumilla.
