About the Role:
Akij Cropentra Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to drive product strategy, market development, and technical support for its agricultural machinery and equipment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for agri machinery products to achieve sales and growth targets.
• Maintain strong relationships and connectivity with renowned international principals for product sourcing.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and market trends.
• Provide technical support and product training to sales teams, dealers, and farmers on machinery operation and maintenance.
• Develop business connectivity with relevant government stakeholders.
• Coordinate with sourcing, R&D, and after-sales service teams for product registration, new product introduction, and launch.
• Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and machinery trials to promote product awareness and adoption.
• Monitor product performance, collect field feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and promotional plans aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and progressive farmers.
• Ensure timely execution of promotional campaigns and monitor marketing ROI.
• Prepare periodic reports on market dynamics, competitor activities, and product performance.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Candidates with an MS degree in Agricultural Engineering will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Agri Machinery, Farm Equipment, or related engineering product management.
• Prior experience in the agri-machinery or heavy equipment industry will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
• Sound knowledge of agricultural machinery, farm mechanization, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively as required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
