Position: Project Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support factory infrastructure, utilities, automation and capital investment projects
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, risk registers, action logs and governance documents
- Support project planning, design reviews, technical evaluations, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Procurement, EHS, IT and external contractors
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and support corrective actions
- Prepare project presentations, management updates, executive reports and performance dashboards
- Ensure compliance with BAT Project Governance requirements
- Manage project documentation, drawings, specifications, contracts and close-out reports
- Coordinate contractor safety compliance, permits, risk assessments and EHS audits
- Support continuous improvement, digitalization and factory capability-building initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or related discipline
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Engineering Projects, Factory Infrastructure, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related functions
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in capital projects, contractor management, commissioning and engineering change implementation
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and project management tools
- Knowledge of CAPEX management, engineering standards, construction safety, Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement will be an advantage
