About CapeC.

CapeC. is looking for a Project Associate – Financial Inclusion to support our growing portfolio of work at the intersection of access to finance, enterprise development, and inclusive market systems.

At CapeC., we work where capital, enterprises, and real constraints collide—across informal, transitioning, and formal businesses.

This role is for someone who wants to build, analyse, and execute, not just observe.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Associate- Financial Inclusion, based in Bangladesh, with flexibility for some remote work.

  • Support project implementation on financial inclusion and enterprise development initiatives
  • Work on financial modelling, budgeting, pitch decks, grant proposals, and business plans for startups, MSMEs, and growth-stage enterprises
  • Collect primary data from the field, engaging with entrepreneurs, producer groups, and market actors
  • Do serious number-crunching: translate entrepreneurs’ lived stories and business realities into cash flows, unit economics, funding needs, and financial inclusion narratives
  • Assist in research, data analysis, and preparation of reports, briefs, and presentations
  • Contribute to financial diagnostics, enterprise profiling, and investment-readiness tools
  • Support access-to-finance (A2F) and blended-finance–linked work
  • Coordinate with project partners, field teams, and stakeholders
  • Support documentation, learning notes, and knowledge products across projects

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical and Research skills for gathering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proficiency in Project Management and ability to effectively coordinate and deliver project milestones
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage stakeholders and deliver presentations
  • Experience in designing and delivering Training programs and workshops
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Studies, Development Studies, or a related field
  • Familiarity with financial inclusion or market system development is a plus

Who This Role Is For

  • Strong interest in financial inclusion, MSME finance, entrepreneurship, or blended finance
  • Comfortable moving between Excel, field notes, and pitch decks
  • Background in Economics, Finance, Business, Development Studies, or related disciplines
  • Prior exposure to consulting, research, development programs, or startups is a plus

Why This Role Matters

At CapeC., you’ll help:

  • Strengthen both formal and informal enterprises to become finance-ready and scalable
  • Bridge enterprise capacity, capital pathways, and market systems
  • Work at the missing middle and growth edge of Bangladesh’s enterprise ecosystem

 Engagement: Full-time (hybrid)
