CapeC. is looking for a Project Associate – Financial Inclusion to support our growing portfolio of work at the intersection of access to finance, enterprise development, and inclusive market systems.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Associate- Financial Inclusion, based in Bangladesh, with flexibility for some remote work.
- Support project implementation on financial inclusion and enterprise development initiatives
- Work on financial modelling, budgeting, pitch decks, grant proposals, and business plans for startups, MSMEs, and growth-stage enterprises
- Collect primary data from the field, engaging with entrepreneurs, producer groups, and market actors
- Do serious number-crunching: translate entrepreneurs’ lived stories and business realities into cash flows, unit economics, funding needs, and financial inclusion narratives
- Assist in research, data analysis, and preparation of reports, briefs, and presentations
- Contribute to financial diagnostics, enterprise profiling, and investment-readiness tools
- Support access-to-finance (A2F) and blended-finance–linked work
- Coordinate with project partners, field teams, and stakeholders
- Support documentation, learning notes, and knowledge products across projects
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Research skills for gathering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
- Proficiency in Project Management and ability to effectively coordinate and deliver project milestones
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage stakeholders and deliver presentations
- Experience in designing and delivering Training programs and workshops
- Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Studies, Development Studies, or a related field
- Familiarity with financial inclusion or market system development is a plus
Who This Role Is For

- Background in Economics, Finance, Business, Development Studies, or related disciplines
- Prior exposure to consulting, research, development programs, or startups is a plus
