Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a Tea Factory or Tea Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of tea processing, factory operations, and production management is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily tea production activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and workplace safety requirements.
- Oversee factory workforce, allocate resources, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Monitor production machinery, coordinate preventive maintenance, and minimize equipment downtime.
- Manage inventory of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of finished tea products to packaging and auction units.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and maintain accurate production records.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and productivity enhancement.
